Workplace Strategy & Leadership Program (WSLP)

The workplace experience is increasingly being recognized by business leaders as a critical tool in the battle to recruit, retain, and energize employees who are critical to enterprise success. Managing flexibility along with infrastructure costs is key to operational effectiveness in an ever-changing business world.

IFMA’s Workplace Strategy & Leadership Program is designed to help leaders design and deliver workplace experiences that support people and help achieve the organization’s strategic business goals. The program focuses on developing the skills required to coordinate all the disciplines and infrastructure needed to deliver an integrated experience that truly helps people work and perform at their best every day from anywhere.

The Workplace Strategy & Leadership Program was developed by an international team of subject matter experts and was structured around the Workplace Management Framework (WMF). It is taught by workplace experts who are pioneers in the field.

Deep-Dive: Workplace Change Management

The Deep-Dive: Workplace Change is a three-month interactive program consisting of virtual and in-person sessions for those wishing to develop their careers as professional workplace change managers and consultants. The program is designed to give you an in-depth understanding of the components of change, including dealing with resistance, barriers to change, motivating others, the emotional elements of change, and maintaining change over time.

Upon completion:

You will have access to a tried and tested framework, tools, and methods for a sustained transition to new work and workplace models.

You will have the skills and confidence to:

  • Address strategic, technical, organisational, and behavioural challenges to execute positive and transformational workplace change, drawing on the latest scientific research
  • Deliver complex, multi-disciplinary workplace change management programs
  • Apply learnings to your current change projects, ensuring you can identify specific, tangible takeaways and actions that can be implemented immediately
  • Lead multi-disciplinary strategic workplace initiatives with confidence
  • Receive formal recognition of your achievement and certificate of completion

Who is the program for?

The program is suited to current and aspiring leadership role holders in Human Resources, Facilities, Corporate Real Estate, Technology Management and Business Operations, leading organisational workplace change projects and programs.

Deep-Dive: Cognitive Wellbeing and Performance

This unique programme equips HR and workplace professionals with the neuroscience associated with work, leadership and the workplace to apply in their daily work. Underpinned by AWA’s research with the Centre for Evidence Based Management, the programme uses a blend of personal study, curated materials and six online collaborative work sessions – one every three weeks – to consolidate understandings and explore practical applications. The programme concludes with a certification session.

Deep-Dive: Workplace AI

Artificial Intelligence is no longer a distant concept — it is here, reshaping the way we work, lead, and deliver value. Yet for many HR and Workplace leaders, the challenge lies in moving beyond the buzzwords to practical understanding and confident application.

The Deep-Dive: Workplace AI is designed to close that gap. This immersive learning experience will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to use AI in meaningful, tangible ways within your organisation.

Over the course of the programme, you will:

  • Build a clear understanding of AI fundamentals — cutting through the myths and misconceptions.
  • Gain hands-on practice with prompt engineering and AI tools that you can start applying immediately.
  • Explore real-world use cases tailored to HR and Workplace functions.
