WELCOME

Evolutionaries are people who make change happen—people who lead systems, organizations, industries, communities, and even nations through transformative shifts in how we work and live.

Who WE are

Workplace Evolutionaries (WE) is a global community of thought leaders and practitioners focused on creating workplaces that enable people and organizations to thrive.

Members include workplace strategists, change managers, facility managers, architects, designers, furniture and technology experts, HR leaders, and academics who care deeply about the future of work (the verb, not the noun).

What WE believe

WE believe work environments should support people’s well-being, performance, and sense of purpose while helping organizations achieve better business outcomes.
WE see Evolutionaries everywhere in organizations—often informal influencers—who, when empowered and connected, can accelerate meaningful, evidence-based workplace change.

What WE do

WE curates and shares knowledge through regular webinars (WE:binars), conference sessions at events like IFMA World Workplace and Facility Fusion, and other learning formats that explore cutting-edge workplace research and practice.
The community also sponsors and disseminates research, case studies, and tools that help members design, lead, and measure workplace transformations around the world.

Our roots and evolution

WE was born within IFMA, gaining momentum after IFMA’s book “Work on the Move” and the Workplace Strategy Summit at Cornell University helped put strategic workplace issues on the global stage.
Since then, WE has grown into an official, globally active IFMA community with members across many countries and sectors, continually expanding its reach and impact.
