Presenter: Rachel Rouse
Rachel is Director of Interiors for HOK’s Dallas office. A licensed interior designer with a deep portfolio of work, Rachel draws upon her project management experience from across her 17 year career in the industry to lead the practice with a focus on relationship management and work acquisition. She works closely with each client from early relationship development through project completion and beyond, delivering consistent and open communication throughout all phases of the project.
Rachel is a leader in CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Dallas, earning the 2018 Chapter service award. She is committee chair for the 2019 CREW Careers Mock Development competition which introduces about 60 Dallas ISD high school girls to various careers in the industry annually. It is her fourth year to participate on the committee and produce the competition. Working with CREW helps to foster an inclusive environment that allows for flexibility, work-life balance and opportunity to excel.
Rachel is the very proud mother of Evelyn (7) and Ford (4). She is an active member of the Dallas theatre community and serves as volunteer coordinator for Pegasus Theatre. She loves putting her project management experience to good use behind the scenes and performing with her theater family. She has volunteered as Principal for the Day with DISD and the Dallas Regional Chamber and is an active Girl Scout Troop leader at Tom C Gooch Elementary.
