Module 1
Welcome to the Workplace Strategy & Leadership Program, Module 1. In this module you will receive an introduction to the discipline of workplace management; learn to build a strategy that aligns the total workplace experience with strategic business driver; and the importance of relationship management.
During the consolidation session, participants will discuss the content from the three preparatory e-learning lectures, dialogue and review the case study. Then the class will be broken into teams to apply the learning and prepare the team board presentation.
During the workshop, teams will present their solution to the board, the course is designed to help future workplace managers develop the skills necessary to optimize the value of the workplace and effectively manage the organization.

In this module we discuss the concept of the employee as a consumer and examine what that means in practice. We explore the concept of audience segmentation, the role of the ‘client’ and the tools, techniques and information flows needed to maintain effective relationships.

In this workshop we will use a case exercise based on a real situation to consolidate learnings. Participants will work in teams to understand the drivers associated with a fictitious organisation, engage with the C-Suite, determine the features of the workplace experience that will add value and pitch to the Board of Directors for investment on how the new workplace experience can deliver tangible competitive advantage.
