Linda McInerney

Linda McInerney has been in real estate and facilities management for more than 15 years. Currently, she is responsible for managing three administrative sites for CVS Health for the Caremark division located in suburban Chicago. She joined the company in 2015, and has been working to modernize the sites and incorporate more well concepts into the buildings. Prior to joining CVS, Linda was a facilities manager for Health Care Services Corporation (HCSC), the nation’s fourth largest health insurance provider, at the company’s headquarters building located in downtown Chicago. While at HCSC, Linda was part of the facilities management team that shepherded the company though a one million sq ft addition known as the vertical completion project. The project was unique in that the additional square footage was added to the top of the building while it was fully occupied with more than 2500 employees. The project took more than three years to complete. It is the only project of its kind in the United States, and the largest vertical addition in the world.
Linda holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Illinois and a MS in Leadership and Management from National Louis University. She has been a member of IFMA for more than 15 years and has been a member of the WE community since its inception. Currently, she is a member of the IFMA Northern Illinois Chapter, where she serves as the co-chairperson of the Community Services Committee and also, is a member of the Sustainability Committee.
She has a keen interest in making workplaces more sustainable, healthier and worker-friendly and plans on completing the Well Accredited Professional exam in early 2017. She also has been a member of the USGBC Illinois Branch and served on the Greater Southwest Chapter Steering Committee.
