Julian Phillips, EVP and Chief Story Teller, Whitlock
Julian has been talking about emerging technology trends and business transformation ever since starting out in the workplace in 1988, Psion Organizer in hand.

He serves in executive leadership at global video collaboration company, Whitlock where he is responsible for marketing, business development and business model innovation. Whitlock provides advisory, integration and support services to enterprises for their workplace and experience environments.

Julian is also a board director and former Chairman of AVIXA, the Audio Visual and Integrated Experience Association, representing the $180B AV industry, worldwide. He is also a founder of the Global Presence Alliance which provides services to enterprises wanting to deploy and manage standardized collaborative technology internationally. In 2019, Julian was inducted into the Systems Contractor News, AV Hall of Fame.

A British national now living in Philadelphia, Julian was with Dell in the early days in Europe, with Orange when the future was still bright and played a hand in digital media M&A with the Hotgroup and Trinity Mirror.

A graduate of the University of Warwick with combined honors in History and Politics, he is a frequent speaker and writer. He has guest lectured with the Lancaster and Cranfield University MBA programs and is a Big Data Advisory Board member at Rutgers.
