WE UK HUB: James Walker – Flexible work and 4-day week – what do we know so far?
Continuing our discussions around flexible working, James will talk through his findings from research around more flexible working patterns. This will include pre- and post-pandemic survey results from a national sample of about 500 UK business leaders and owners and a base sample of about 2,000 UK adults aged 16+, which was nationally representative by age, gender and region.
Prof. James Walker is Director of Research at the Henley Business School at the University of Reading. He is also a Director of the World of Work Institute at Henley, being involved in research on the evolution of flexible work practices, such as the four-day working week, and their influence on individuals, organisations and society.
