WSL 1-01: An Introduction to Workplace Management

The workplace experience is becoming increasingly important to ‘c’ suite leaders in their quest to hire, inspire and maximise the performance of the best talent. In this module we define the modern workplace, set out the new discipline of ‘Workplace Management’ and explore the core concepts and capabilities needed to manage the modern workplace ‘experience’.

1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
WSL 4-01: Performance Management

This capability defines and measures all the components of the workplace management framework to assess how they are contributing to the desired outcomes. This implies a holistic and inter-related set of measurements which ultimately will track progress against the effectiveness and efficiency characteristics of the overall solution. Typically in these situations, the measurement will be aligned with the strategic  “Measures of Success”. Performance Management, however, is concerned with not only high level strategic measures of success but with incremental progress against more tactical pieces of work which, when grouped together, serve the common purpose. This course will provide insight around what can be measured, how it is measured and how the results are used to calibrate, then improve outcomes.

WE HUB UK: Dr. Craig Knight - Tracking past the pandemic

As the severity of the pandemic seems to be lessening, there is already a sense of things returning to something closer to the way they were in 2019. The fact is however that we have learned much during the pandemic, one of the things being that these kind of virtual presentation sessions should be kept alive. We have enjoyed both participants and speakers from a range of locations who would otherwise have been unable to attend face-to-face sessions. It is quite likely that next year this group will supplement this offering by hosting some face-to-face sessions in various quarters of the British Isles but, for the foreseeable future, we plan to continue as is: no travel time or travel cost, the offering is delivered straight to your desk (or sofa), you have a chance to share your thoughts, and the price is right!

In June we will be welcoming the irrepressible Dr Craig Knight who will delight you with his knowledge and incite.

WE Hub SE - Samtalsluckan: Sustainability in the workplace both during and after the pandemic
