David has a unique reputation for understanding the impact and value of technology to business.  Established for the last four years as an independent management and change consultant, David delivers custom consulting engagements and continues to engage at the highest levels with the largest organizations across Technology, Workplace, Culture and Change. With over 18 years at Microsoft, in numerous strategic and consulting leadership roles, David has worked with both Public and Commercial organizations and has direct experience with Pharmaceuticals and large banks in Financial Services. Prior to Microsoft, David worked for five years at the Union Bank of Switzerland, based in The City of London, in IT Strategy where he was involved in front office, settlement rationalisation and IT re-engineering programmes. Before that, five years at Acorn Computers in Cambridge, which became ARM.   David has published articles on Business Value, the future of branch banking, the introduction of technology for Independent Financial Advisors and many years ago, the early use of satellite imagery to track ice-flows.  Find out more at http://davidslight.com
