Andrew is a Founding Director of Advanced Workplace Associates (AWA) the global, science-based workplace transition consultancy. He’s a leading pioneer, thinker, writer and speaker on matters ‘work and place’ having the unusual ability to span the worlds of business strategy, organizational design, workplace strategy, workplace design, technology and change management.
In his consulting work he has directed workplace change programs with organizations including Invesco, Willis Towers Watson, Microsoft, Direct Line Group, The UK Home Office, The Royal Bank of Scotland and Merrill Lynch and is regarded as an expert in the implementation of new models for working.
Andrew has been a key force behind AWA’s research into Knowledge Worker Productivity and has directed 4 research programs on Community Productivity, Cognitive Performance, Agile Management and Workplace Experience Design.
His work, with his colleague Graham Jervis in leading a cross industry group of UK workplahttps://ifma.frontify.com/d/8xwUsmMq1xTx/logos/collection/5427ce specialist led to the publication of The Workplace Management Framework, a 54-page document defining the new discipline of Workplace Management, now adopted by IFMA.
Before forming Advanced Workplace Associates in 1992, he held senior roles in the IT industry in the disciplines of manufacturing, logistics, quality management and strategic marketing.
