Reza is a senior consultant with Emergent Solutions, Inc. (ESODL) specializing in workplace strategy and organizational change. His primary interest is in helping organizations leverage their physical and social environments to enhance business performance. He brings a strong background in Organizational Psychology and interpretive organizational theory to his work. He has a proven track record in developing and implementing effective workplace and business strategies across a range of industries.
He has led numerous strategy development and organizational change projects requiring extensive multi-stakeholder collaboration and senior level engagement. He has designed and conducted innovative quantitative and ethnographic assessments for workplace strategy program development. He has also led business process improvement projects and supported strategic planning, implementation and performance evaluation for the international expansion of multinational firms.
Reza has a strong interest and focus on organizational culture and workplace change. He has designed and led successful organizational change and communications initiatives aimed at shifting cultures to enable adoption of new ways of working. In this area he focuses on building multi-pronged campaigns directed at establishing the context for change, leveraging peer networks to build momentum and working with senior leaders to demonstrate critical support.
Organizations he has worked with include ADP, Amgen, Bank of America, Citrix Systems, DIRECTV, Dolby Laboratories, Kaiser Permanente, Merck, Philips, QBE Insurance, Numico B.V. and Warner Bros.
Prior to his current focus Reza was a key member of Jones Lang LaSalle’s (JLL) Strategic Consulting group and instrumental in developing the firm’s workplace strategy research and change management approaches. Prior to working with JLL, Reza worked with Interplay Learning Corp, Mariposa Leadership and Hagberg consulting with a primary focus on organizational development, organizational culture assessment and leadership coaching.
Reza holds a BA in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara, a PhD in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and is Six Sigma Certified. He is a frequent speaker on the topic of Organizational and Workplace Change.
